Slow, but sure

Slowly, but surely the weight is coming off. I slipped a few times, like when Chao came home with six greasy egg rolls. Sorry, I LOVE Hmong egg rolls. Had three for dinner that night...two for lunch the next day (don't know what happened to the last one).

These last few days have been the most BORING days of my life! I thought it was supposed to be spring. What's all this rain, snow, ice stuff going on? I haven't been getting in my walking at the mall because I either didn't have a car or didn't feel like going out in the cold and rain. I may venture out today anyway just to get out of here for a while.

I have been refusing to eat out of plain boredom though. I just eat less, but more often. I have an orange for breakfast, milk an hour or two later for a snack, and another snack (perhaps a piece of toast) a few hours later. It seems to keep my blood sugar a lot more even that way. I may have to cut down on my evening lantus though. My glucose was only 61 this morning!

    Hey, just checking in on you. Glad to see you started a blog. It's been really rainy her also. I have been going to work out at our local Curves 3-times a week. The doctor finally released me yesterday to work-out and walk and put me on pain-pills for my joint pain, hoping this will help my program. JUDDDD seems to be working great for me so far, official weigh-in Tuesday. Hope your weather breaks soon. Keep up the positive attitude. emoticon
