I have been doing cardio, without a HRM, and on weeks that I am consistent with both food and my 6x a week cardio workout, I will lose no less than 3lb and usually 4lbs.

Now I know why.

Last friday, I finally stopped procrastinating and got the batteries changed on my HRMs.

I used the one with a calorie count capability today, and with an average HR of 141 bpm for the 60 mins of my exercise, it said I had burnt 820cals.

I am sceptical but happy to know that I am doing more than my paltry 312 that the spark tracker gives me for my Mini trampoline junket.
I Jog in place, and I do a Zulu warrior dance, with vigorous arm movements. You should see me. Its like a cross between an energetic "stomping grapes" and "stepping on hot coals and jumping away" with my knees raised as high as my fitness will allow. I do all this on my trusty rebounder.
Mind.... I do all this to music, especially dance tune remixes.

I'm a gadget lover. Since my HRM does not have a USB capability, hence cannot be sync'ed with a PC, me thinks, a more sophisticated HRM is in the works. With all the bells and whistles....... prolly summin' that can measure Vo2max. MMmm now this has me thinking. A cross between a Garmin forerunner 305 and something else.
This has me all excited. I wonder what I'll find out there.

800 cals in one hour... That would be really nice. especially since the rebounder is so low impact I even call it no-impact cause that is how amazing it is.
