My Battle

I have an ongoing battle with my scale. He mocks me as I step onto him every week. Yes, I know it's a male because a female would have more sympathy. Each week he laughs, refusing to move his numbers at all. I refuse to let him defeat me. I have still lost inches even though my weight had not changed. Obviously my tape measure is female. Today when I stepped to face him, I had finally overcome. He couldn't hold out any longer, I lost 3 lbs. this past week and have beat the battle of the scale. Now I look forward to this next week with a fire behind me. I believe I can defeat this monster, no matter what he says. LOL

    Hey Glenda, This is Glendao Sorry I just got your message. I am still learning how to get around on the site LOL. Slow but sure.... Yes Glenda ia an unusual name, can hardly fine anyone named Glenda. Glad you found me, I would like to keep in touch, I'm new here and congrats on the 3 lbs!! I've lost 17 pounds on my own and sorta ran out of gas or something, don't remember how I found Sparkpeople but glad I did.     Be more stubborn than the scale...always! ^_^

    And yes, bellydancing is NOT easy. I can't wait until I'm in good enough shape just to jump around like some of them do. I always finish a bellydancing workout with burning abs, shoulders, and legs.

    Awesome job! Just remember the inches lost are the thing that is going to get you into a smaller size. If you gain weight or stay the same and still lose inches it could be muscle and muscle is good : )
