Out with the old...

So I'm updating my Sparkpage... now that I've completed the C25K program and my original ultimate goal of running a 5k... I'm moving on! Time to train for a 10K!! So I'm clearing out my old training schedule from my sparkpage, but I didn't want to lose it forever, so I'm saving here as a blog. I like remember how much work I did to get to where I am now!

Couch to 5k Progress:

11/5 Week 1 DONE!
11/12 Week 2 DONE!
11/19 Week 3 DONE!
11/26 Week 3 (repeat) DONE!
12/3 Week 4 DONE!
12/10 Week 4 (repeat) DONE!
12/17 Week 5 Day 1 all week DONE!
12/24 Week 5 Day 2 all week DONE!
12/31 Week 5 (As it's supposed to be done) DONE!
1/7 Week 5 (repeat) DONE!
1/14 Week 5 (repeat- add 1 minute to all runs) DONE!
1/21 Week 6 DONE!
1/28 Week 6 (repeat) DONE!
2/4 Week 7 DONE!
2/11 Week 7 (repeat) DONE!
2/18 Week 8 DONE!
2/25 Week 8 (repeat) DONE!
3/3 Week 9 DONE!
(begin running outside 1 time/week- weather permitting)
3/10 Mon: 32 Wed: 5K Distance (OS) Fri: 33 DONE!
3/17 Mon: 34 Wed: 5K distance Fri/weekend:Virtual Race 5K DONE!
3/24 Mon: 27.5 (2.5 mi. @ 5.5 mph) Thurs: 24 (2 mi. @ 5.0) Sat: 45 min. (@ 5.0 ~ 3.75 mi. with two 2-minute walk breaks) DONE!
3/31 Mon: 33 Wed: 36 Sat: 1st Official 5K!! DONE!

PRACTICE RUNS:
3/12 5K OS Time: approx 34 min.
3/19 5K TM Time: 37 mn.
3/22 5K TM Time: 33 min. 30 sec.

RACE:
4/5/08 5K Time: 31:59 (PR) GO! St. Louis 5K
