Starting Over....AGAIN!

Friday, April 04, 2008

Once again I need to start over with trying to eat healthier and erxercise on a consistent basis. I know I need to find a way of eating that will not make me gain weight. But I don't think I can do one more "diet". I can stay on a "diet" for only so long before all my best intentions fly out the window. I really, really need to find an eating plan that I can truly stay with for the rest of my life. Something that has my normal foods in it but only healthier. Once again I am on a quest to be a healthier person.

I started the Ideal Protein Diet on December 9, 2011 and have lost 52 pounds since then. Yes, it is expensive but I was spending that amount on junky food anyway so I find the diet well worth the expense. Plus this isn't something I will be on for the rest of my life because there are 4 phases to the diet and once we reach phase 4 we are eating regular food. Since the weight comes off so quickly, we aren't on the diet as long as we would have to be for any other diet so the expense of the food packets is really for only a short while. I travel 45 minutes each way to my clinic but I only go every 3 weeks. But I don't need the weekly accountability and some people do so it is something to think about. Good luck on your decision!

I am in the same what is your plan? Are you thinking of doing the Ideal Protein plan? I'm navigating my way around on Spark people..heard about some people in my area doing the Ideal protein plan (after a jaw dropping reaction after seeing them since Christmas for the first time-totally different person!) Seems really spendy-would be inconvenient for me to go to where the nearest Ideal Protein place is....and expensive...can you do this on your own at all?
