Well I'm less than 30 days away from my one year anniversary of this new healthy lifestyle. I can't believe it. My life is completely different than it was and it is for the better. I'm also realizing that this journey is truly a life long quest. It gets easier once you lean how to eat and exercise but it takes a lot of self motivation to keep eating and exercising right. I'm now at that horrible point of this journey...a plateau. I know I need to kick it up a notch but I am struggling to pull myself together to do it. Most people feel like I should be satisfied with what I have done so far. But I'm not. I'm going for the Gold! I want to wear a bathing suit in July and feel confident wearing it. I'll never get to a bikini (nor do I want to) but I really want to be able to strut my stuff in a new suit. Maybe even a Tankini. LOL.

    A tankini... I can see it. And I know you're husband will love to see you in one. You are doing a wonderful job and you're right it's a life long journey. I'm just at the beginning of mine and have already hit a plateau. You'll push through this one... I just know it.

    Gurrl, don't be hard on yourself. And it may not even be that you need to step it up a notch, you may have to bring it down a notch. I remember SRENEE saying something about advising clients for like Nutrisystem or one of those, to go out and have a big steak with full calorie dressing just to jump start their weight loss again. So do some different things. Take one day this weekend not to count cals, but don't go crazy either. Like have a couple of those oatmeal cookies you like. Maybe give up the ST for a few days. You know what I'm talkin' bout. Just do something really off the wall... but don't get too comfortable. And I just know, you'll get it started again. "Let's get it started, ohohoh ohoh." (Sheesh all this Mc Hammer stuff between Fe and Ms_J is really effecting me! LOL)
