Is it worth it????

Thursday, April 03, 2008

Oh boy I have gotten back on track with eating and been walking after work with my sis..I feel good about this. One of my main reasons for doing this was to feel better about myself and to hopefully not be in so much pain.

Well I definitely feel better about myself. I know I can do this and I am in control( most of the time). But the pain in my joints and muscles is not better...There are good days and bad days..Good hours and bad hours..I know with the Fibro and Arthritis there will always be pain guess today is just a whiny day!!! lol

So I guess since I feel better about myself and what I am doing yes it is worth it..Because I am worth it...

Hey--Thanks for commenting on my blog!--Thought I'd return the favor. Congrats on being back on track. Your dog is sooo cute! Oliver, my shi tzu, was so nasty when I got him back from the kennel. It had rained most of the week and he'd had a lot of play times in the mud. After about 45 minutes with the brush and comb and a very thorough bath, he was back to his fluffy, soft, sweet-smelling self! Have a great, and hopefully, pain-free week.

I know how hard it is to walk through pain. I work on my feet all day long and at the end of the day my hips just ache. It's hard to make myself do a workout when I get home but I know that the more weight I lose, the less pain I will be in. I already feel the difference in my knees and ankles. Eventually you will feel less pain from carrying too much weight as well. You're doing so great this far, you can keep going!!!! By the way, when the heck are we going to get spring this year???? We had one nice day this week and the rest of the time it never got above 50! I'm so ready for warmer weather..that will help with the aches too!
