A New Day, A New Beginning

Wednesday, April 02, 2008

Okay, so I blew last week and the first couple days this week, Today, I can start over again. "For this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Every day is a new beginning. Thank God.

Everyday is a new beginning! I was having an awful time yo-yoing until I found intuitive eating (See my blog for the past few weeks). It's not for everyone, but my point is, I think you have to look and pray until you find what the best route to good health is for you. The main thing is you are never a failure if you're a child of God! Thanks for the add as a friend. Sparkmail me if you need me!

Mary, that is the verse I say every morning when my feet first touch the floor. It's good to know that when we goof, God is waiting. He isn't wagging a finger at us, but welcomes us back to our goal and helps us get going again.

Yesterday I was totally bummed because I haven't seen the scales budge in awhile. I lose one-half lb. at a time. A friend gave me a good talking to, and I slept like a baby last night. Woke up rarin' to go again. I think God purposefully allows just one-half lb. increments for me as I learn OBEDIENCE. It isn't going to be instant gratification, because I've taken years to pile on the weight. I just need to obey and know that I will make it by keeping my eyes fixed on the Lord.
