Peeling the band aid off slowly

My last blog was about my breakup - this is a continuation. There is a reason why when people live together and they break up - SOMEONE NEEDS TO MOVE OUT. He is still here and everyday since we broke up has been a continuous break up. We discuss what went wrong, over and over and over. I have noticed that my energy and motivation level has gone down considerably.

The good news is that he leaves next week so this is not going to be an ongoing situation because I know I couldn't handle and this most definitely is not healthy. Therefore this blog is not a pity party blog, it is a reminder to myself and anyone that is listening, when it's over, ITS OVER. It is much worse to sit around and continue to remember what could have been. Because if it was all that great, we wouldn't be here in the first place and what could have been, never was, so here I am (that made sense to me).

Next week - will be an awesome week because graduation will be less than 10 days away and I can get back on track.

I love the bandaid, great visual. I didn't know he was still hanging around. Well at least you know that you won't have to go through this past next week. I guess he is having a harder time with the break-up then you are. Hang in there girl, it's just days away.

I wish I could say something but no words come out. I just hope that in the end once you part ways, you both end up happy.

I suggest you take note of what he said. Write it down and forget about it until you are ready to examine how much you own of what happened. it will help you to do better once it seems that you need a man more than a fish needs a bicycle.
