my days.

I've had a mixed time of it. I've lost a few more lbs and an inch from my waist but I've developped a very itchy allergic rash to one ofmy meds. Most uncomfortable. On that I've had agitated depression with some major panic attacks, mostly to do with sleeping. I haven't been getting any sleep for ages and just had to buy a new facemask for the cpap machine. It works a dream and my blood pressure dropped 30 points so Drs. happy at the moment. I've just gotten a bit phobic about sleeping, add that to agarophobia developing fast and I'm afraid I'm keeping up with diet and exercise only sporadically.

Try chlortometron - overthe counter - I hadn't slept in years and my psychiatrist swore by this - so far so good! emoticon

I hope you are feeling some better by now. My panic attacks started back after this weekend and I hadn't had one in a while.

What kind of face mask do you have for your CPAP? I started sleeping with the machine in November and I have the one with nasal pillows. I have had problems with some irritation in both nostrils and discomfort.

oh, karen, i'm so sorry you aren't doing 100percent...of course, who is? but when you're(one is) low, EVERYTHING just is NOT inch is GREAT...and the new mask...the man i babysit for has sleep apnea and i'm wondering if a new mask would benefit yours just fitting better or is it a new style of mask? and, like debbie said, get outside everyday...i truly believe that the 10 minutes of sunshine a day (when i could do it) was a BIG part of not just getting the vitamin D but better dealing with the Seasonal Affect Disorder that probably ALL of us deal with to some extent...keep at it, young lady, every day IS a new start...i'm in your corner...karen3(^_^)

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are feeling better soon. I am glad your bp dropped but hope you can get some sleep soon. You must be so fatigued. Hugs, Jean

I know this will be hard but right now the diet part needs to take a backseat while you figure out how to manage the other problems you are having. Agarophobia is a big one and I hate to see this happening to you. Try to get outside everyday no matter how hard it is.. even if you just got sit outside.. better would be a nice slow walk even if it is just around the outside of the house. Keep a journal of how you are feeling and hopefully you will find a pattern. I am so happy to hear the BP is down..and of course losing weight is wonderful too.. try to find some time to relax each day.. My prayers are with you.. Love to you, debbie
