Positive thinking

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

I have read a members blog about positive thinking and it inspired me to start doing just that. I know that I can live with this new lifestyle. The more I follow it the better I am starting to feel.

Also last night at bowling a couple of people made comments on how good I was starting to look.

Today I did something I haven't done in a very long time. I got up to get ready to go to work. (My regular routine is hop in the shower pull my hair back and jump into a pair of jeans and a top.) This morning I had my coffee maker set for auto start. I got ups got dressed in a SKIRT and BLOUSE with a VEST. Drank my coffee as I curled my hair, and actually put on makeup. I sent the others on to work without me and I walked the 1/2 mile to work. This is so out of character for me any more. I think the last time I dressed like this for work was 5 or 6 years ago. It felt SOOOO GOOD.

I couldn't believe what a difference it makes to do this again.
