My Daughter Prayed for My Healing
Monday, March 10, 2008
Yesterday, my children and I were reviewing their bible lessons from last Wednesday's church service. The topic was perseverance. I think the message was more for me than for the kids. At the end of the lesson, my daughter had to decide on something to pray for. She immediately said "Mommy to be healed". I asked her what healing did I need. She said she was praying for my healing from being fat. I was somewhat saddened, but I quickly became grateful that my daughter - in her innocent 5 year old mind, knew so much better than I that I cannot do this without God's help. Although I've attempted and failed on several occasions, through God's help and perseverance, I will succeed.
