i am feeling rather lethargic and it took me two hours to figure out it was due to a headache. you think i would have noticed sooner but it wasn't one of those pounding, burst-your-eyeballs-out crashes nor the wincable, lightning-stabbing sharpness... it was just steady footsteps on my brain that is easily ignored unknowingly yet draining of all life-energy. i just took three ibuprofens and half a can of pop (dr said carbon will put meds in blood faster) so hopefully i've managed to keep it from progressing to a migraine.

i wanted to exercise as soon as i got up but there is no way i could handle it right now. its my parents anniversary so i didn't want to be blasting music through the house while jumping away on the elliptical when they are here... i might end up having to wait till they go to dinner tonight before i can get to my exercise if my head doesn't stop aching soon.

LATER: my head toned down so i jumped on the elliptical for an hour and did 50 situps... well my headache is back, i'm exhausted, and rather nauseous. maybe i should have slacked today and just nixed the exercising... but its my parents anniversary and i know i'm having pizza and cake and there is no way i'm going healthier at a celebration dinner. besides in what i've already eaten there was wheat, oats, apples, grain, and raisins.

Yeah, exercising is difficult when you're sick... next time remember that health means taking care of yourself even when you're trying to lose weight. So if you physically don't have the energy to work out, then help your body out by resting and replenishing it with what its lacking. When I'm not feeling well, I try to figure out the cause, for me I know most of my headaches come from a lack of sleep. So hello, my body is telling me I need sleep. Then I can fix the problem and get back into my routine.

Try reaching for acetaminophen (Tylenol) next time you have a headache. My doctor told me ibuprofen is better for muscle pains and injuries but acetaminophen is faster for headaches and fever reduction.

    Hope you feel better tomorrow!

the caffine is what the soda is for. If you want a healthier alternative, Green tea. It is much better for you and you can get it with caffine or without. Much less sugar also.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.
