thanks to CHP4GOLF i now know the following information but i'm stil not sure what to do with it....

resting heart rate: 39 beats/30sec
target heart rate: 148-178
BMi: 23
LBM: 25.76
cal burn at rest: 1302

if i exercise 6-7 days a week....
total cal need: 2246
carbs need: 1348
protein need: 898
fats need: 674

"if you are trying to lose weight (body fat), reduce your calories by at least 500-1000 below your maintenance level.... never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 per day for men."

.... alright so if i'm not sposed to drop under 1200 cals a day and i exercise off about 400-600 cals each time... sparkie estimates me at 1200-1550 cals per day so i should actually eat around the 1500-1600 a day?

    Hi Jaime! 1,200 is base calories needed. Maybe on the days you are really pushing your workouts eat closer to the recommended 1,550. I think everyone is different, through trial and error You will figure out what works best for you. Track your food, every little bite so, you learn what your calories are adding up to for the day.     First, YOU ARE NOT CLUELESS!!!!! my wife does the self-tear down thing from time to time.

    If you are searching to understand you are ahead of most people. You do not have to completely break it down into small small finite calories. Get it down to a level you understand.

    calories burned in a day, calories needed in a day, do not get lost in the ratios of carbs to proteins. Your body has a great way of telling you what you might need. Just be willing to listen and respond sensibly and not binge eating. A great way is to always keep three or four things in your fridge at all times. lean low sodium protein (chicken/turkey breast slices) low sugar 100% fruit juices (cranberry...etc.) cooked whole grain brown rice (slow digesting carb) a couple of spoonfuls/small bowl with a little milk and splenda will kick a craving...also a great mid meal snack.
