Phooie? Not so much!

Happy day! I did make it to the gym (despite falling back asleep at 4:45 - the gym opens at 5!), and worked out for 68 minutes today. Not too shabby. Burned up some 800+ calories, too!
And since I've just joined the "SP class of Jan 6 - 12" challenge for the next 8 weeks, I'm totally focused on staying on track now. Working out, eating as healthy as I can by staying aware rather than eating mindlessly. And I'm going to be adding in some personal goals as well - like cleaning my apartment - I'm sick of the piles of paper stacked on every flat surface! :)
The best part? I've only put on 2 pounds. Phew - it's not too awful, especially after not having really watched my diet this week either - I did have a whole large candy bar for dinner last night. :)
But no more. I've decided to actually stay within my recommended calorie range for this next 8 weeks while I'm in the challenge and see how that affects my training goals.
Okay - I still have a LONG way to go, but I'm confident I can do it. If I stay aware and alert.
