......have been greatly exaggerated.... i'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccck!

so.... what to tell ya girlfriends!??!?!?

a short synopsis/dissertation of the life and flab of tracy geddes...

... i've joined 'exclusively womens'
... i've dropped 14 pounds
... i've shrank 8 inches (1 1/2 off my boobs... sorry dan!)
... i've quit my job
... i've accepted a new one (i let them 'woo' me away with money and power!)
... i've missed a couple of classes, but i'm doing awesome at the gym
... i've hired a personal trainer

ummmmmmmmm .... i think that about catches me up....

i go to the gym first thing in the morning, before work... i start with 30 minutes on the bike to warm up.... 3 minutes slower.... then 2 minutes as fast as i can... then 3 minutes slower... you can see the pattern emerging... (and to be honest.... even as little as four weeks ago, a 30 minute stint on the bike would have BEEN my entire workout!!).... then i use the weight machines for anywhere from 30 minutes (mon, tues, thurs, fri) to 45 minutes (wed cause i don't start work until 2, so i have more time...)... and on wednesdays, after my workout, i 'do' the hot tub for 15 min then the dry sauna for 15 min before my shower.... i LOVE it... who knew??? i could have been doing this YEARS ago if i'd known it would feel this good!!...

of course... it's not without it's hurdles.... i've noticed that, now i don't have the time i had before (but it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make)... and i find that i'm hungrier.... WTF!?!?! how cruel is THAT!?!?!? give me the 'workout bug' so i can loose weight and get toned, and then make me crave food.... somebody has a very sick sense of humour!!! geez louise!!!

and i've stopped entering my food.... which has probably slowed my progress.... i'm sure i'm over my limits.... well..... actually, now that i think about it.... i'm probably not doing as bad as i think i am...... but i'm sure i could be doing better.... first thing tuesday, i'm gonna renew, redouble and re ?..... (huh... thought i was gonna be so clever with the illiteration.... but couldn't think of another re-something.... LOL).... anyway...you get the picture.... and i'm not drinking my water like i used to.. gotta get back to that too ....

    sounds like you are doing great! you are probably hungrier cause you are burning more calories....not such a bad thing huh? keep up the good work!

    As for the hungier - YAY - that just means you have revved up your metabolism and that is a good thing - the bad thing water, water, water is a must - your body needs it desperately in order to function at its optimum. However, I know you can do it and you will. Good for you - keep up the good work! Hugs - Jenna
