Keeping Motivated

Well, I finally have reached the valley where my motivation is starting to waiver. I have been so good up until this point....in fact, I have been surprised by how motivated I have been. I have created a daily goal to work through a motivation challenge, and so far, I HAVE been able to work through most.

The scale has stopped, but I can feel a difference in my clothes and energy level. I am also tracking how often I wake up feeling good in the morning and how often I go to bed a night feeling good. I am surprised that most days I do feel both physically and emotionally good. February is always a hard month for me. The days are long, the post holiday lack of activities sets in, and work is very usual.

I need to remember that this journey is full of hills and valleys, for every valley I am in, there will be a hill to climb and a summit to reach. Then it starts all over again. It is almost like walking from here to California...it will not be an easy trip, but once I get there the ocean will be there so that I can ride waves instead!

    Don't get discouraged! Because your clothes are fitting better probably means you're loosing inches instead of pounds. Keep up that good work and it will all pay off. You can do it!!
