The Lament of the Pizza Eater...

AND that would be me. I was weak, friends. Yesterday I ate PIZZA. And cinnamon breadsticks. And today my weight is up to 190. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

1. I worked out diligently last week and did lots of Pushups and Crunches.
2. I did not go over on any other day.
3. I was eating fruits and veggies when I could.

so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this just be a sodium bloat!!!!! Or some wonderful combination of sodium bloat + muscle gain. If I stay around 187 but improve my body fat % from last week, I will be fine. Hopefully I might still post a loss, but sodium bloat for me... at this point I'd be happy if it went back down around 187.

    Ugh I am right there with you today. I had a big old bag of microwave popcorn yesterday and this morning the scale was up a pound. SODIUM!! Just think, next weeks weigh in will look really good because you'll have lost the water weight PLUS whatever you would have lost anyway. That's what I'm telling myself at least =)

    Sodium, Sodium, Sodium...
    This is life and pizza is sometimes in ours. Dont beat yourself up, remembering that we are in this for the lifestyle change and not a quick fix or fad!

    oh hun, SOOOOo a sodium bloat. It's okay to freak out on some pizza some times! Hang in there and let that sodium gets out of your system. :)

    Probably is sodium bloat. I was up a little this morning, too, after fajitas last night! It'll be ok. You'll see!

    ITA with JP... Just hang out. Splurge once in a while - a piece of pizza and a cinnamon stick or two aren't going to kill you (I mean unless you have other health issues that we are unaware of) but you have to allow yourself a little wiggle room or you're going to binge hard core. You've got two days to flush it out of your system and who knows - you might have lost inches!! Keep the good thought!

    Everything in moderation. If you never have your favorite, less healthy, foods it will just lead to a binge. So your up a bit. Stay on track and you will get back to where you were. You can do this!

    I cast my "fatronus", but it can only protect you to a point. Your weight gain is only a bit of water from sodium, but if the Pizza Dementers get in repeatedly, my Fatronus will be too weak. ;-p

    Seriously, I wouldn't worry about one "fun" day out of many "on track days". In fact, the calorie cyclers on this site would say that it's exactly what you need to do to shake up your body a little.

    Ugh - join the club! I am having the same issues, and I didn't cheat (ok I had some girl scout cookies - but I was in my range!)

    It will be ok - it will go down, that's what I keep telling myself!

    Oooooh pizza...the bane of my existence...why oh why does it have to taste so damn good???! O_O Anywho hon...you've done so good...I remember when you were excited to be at 199!! So hang in there, it'll keep going down...even if it goes up a little first!! ;)
