Paradigm Shift, Aha Moment, Light bulb moment....you name it

I was looking around Dr Phil's site, and browsing it about weight loss shows today, suddenly something I had seen so many times before, resonated with me. Its the HIGH RESPONSE/HIGH YIELD EATING. This made so much sense to me, that I suddenly realised that choosing and cooking my vegetables in the correct amount and in the right way was the best way to go.
I also accepted for the first time that reading labels, and choosing foods that had an acceptable, nutrient to calorie ratio, was not a minor inconvenience, but I was consciously creating a fail safe strategy for achieving my goal.

I now look forward to measuring out my very low fat, sodium free soy protein, to add to my breakfast. I now realise that the effort I am putting into making sure my meals are nutrient dense, and calorie/fat sparse is a real fail safe strategy.

"My... My" has my paradigm shifted on that one. So instead of feeling "this is such a fuss for a meal", I now think "this is great... I am making an effort to put good nutritious beneficial food in my body".

I am so glad I found information to reiterate the desirability of these habits.

I will now view my efforts at making healthy meals for me as a true act of self love.

My efforts are certainly paying off, because, as at today, exactly 1 week from start, I have lost 5lbs
