This weekend we were invited to a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, family gathering, and graduation party, all with lots of wonderful food. Each day I exceeded my daily calories, BUT because I decided to track my food I know I ate WAY less than I would have in the past. And I didn't go over by much! Tracking really helps! Now back to my normal week…Love my breakfast! Favorite meal of the day! (Yes, there's an egg in there!)Yay! Still lost this week after being on vacation! Good food choices are becoming a nice habit! And it helps to have a super husband who is very supportive and shares in the desire to get healthy. The calories are burning! Yay for gardening!Today I'm a third of the way to my goal, and I'm thanking God for his help in eating healthier!Ahhhh, breakfast! Love it!I'm sick, and my sweet tooth is screaming! So I made this: a few sliced grapes, a bit of sliced avocado, and a few pistachios. Heaven. 😍A tuna salad lunchMy last home meal before leaving for a six day trip vacay and a class reunion. Anticipating lots of fried and processed food. This will be tricky! I tell myself "One choice at a time!" This is real life -- I can do it!!Fueling for the day--roasted cauliflower, eggs with spinach and strawberries. A great day ahead in God!Enjoying God's world today as I move toward my goal!A quick chicken salad for lunchFresh pineapple, English cucumber & cilantro w/ salt and lime juice -- something to write home about!! Are you refocused from the weekend??Kale and spinach frittata and smoked salmon with roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and blueberries. 299 calories of deliciousness! I've been on a few not-so-enjoyable diets before, but this time I'm starting my day with good fuel and not 'depriving' myself. Have a beautiful day, fellow losers!!I'm moving into smaller clothes! Yay!Protein, healthy fats, and flavor! And coffee, of course. 295 calories of yummy!Roasted butternut squash is so good, but it sure is a bugger to peel! Worth it, tho!444 calories of yum!Good morning, everyone! Down one pound. Wish it was more, but it's moving in the right direction! I'm doing this for good health, and it's a marathon not a sprint!I rationed my calories today to have Italian sausage w/ peppers and onions, and roasted cauliflower, and spaghetti squash! Planning and tracking have a definite upside -- you can really eat well! NOT planning led me to snacking on high calorie foods (one after another) and gaining 60 lb! We're getting things turned around! Woot!Weekends are always the hardest for me. So far so good!Celebrating my 35 lb milestone with new running shoes! 25 lb left to go! By God's grace I'm eating healthier and feeling better! It was chilly this morning, so I grabbed a sweatshirt and was delighted to find that I could zip it with room to spare! I've had too much chub to zip this for years! 37 lbs down, 13 to go!My little grandson is great motivation for weight loss! I want to have energy to play with him and be around for his wedding someday! ❤️Eggs, spinach, mushrooms, smoked salmon, and avocado. A delicious way to start a Saturday!
