Home made nut butter. 1/4 cup of each pistachio, roasted almonds, pecans, walnuts, Lily's chocolate baking chips and a table spoon of oil. I used my blender of food puree. I won't buying it from the store again. I keep different types of nuts and seeds for snacking anyways, so I'll be making this for now on.
I started this journey on May 15, 2016. Lots of starts and stops. A few losses, a few gains. But it looks like this time I have it right. This journey isn't over till I stop breathing.

Driving by a fast food place, they have BLT and fries $4.95 out on their sign. I thought that sounds really good, but I can make it better. Eggs whites, tomatoes, bacon, avocado, salad greens, and mayo. Calories 414, carbs 17, fat 29, protein 22 and fiber 7.
Had to take the puppy to the vets to get weighed and some allergy meds. He's 9.5 months old and a whooping 63.4 pounds. Doc said he wont get taller, but he will get wider.
I'm halfway to my goal weight!
Im kind of stuck on cucumber, tomatoes, avocado and mixed nuts for lunch. The white is a home made ranch dressing. And under the nuts are chia and flax seeds. Its easy znd filling.
What does a gluten, dairy and sugar free meal look like .....
It's not pretty, but its tasty. Lentils, quinoa, salsa, onions, pepper, tomatoes, avocado, with dairy free cheese corn quesadilla.
I wasn't a very happy camper having my picture taken for the before. That was one of my many starts with no progress. I was between 175 and 180. I got up to 182 in 2018. The picture taken today .... I've had that shirt for a few years and never liked how it fit, until today! I'm making progress now. #BeforeAndAfter
feeling broken, upset, grief, ..... I wanted to binge eat. But do you know how hard it is to binge eat when you can't eat gluten or dairy? So I made a salad with lots of calories.
Today I weigh 170. .... ugh! My goal is to lose 10 pounds by St. Patrick's day. And hopefully part of that belly roll. I hate looking this way.
This is why it's so important to read labels. I've been trying to not have dairy or gluten for a few weeks and have been snacking on rice Krispy treats. ... they have milk in them. I never knew.
The family is having hot ham and cheesy sandwiches for super. I can't have the bread or cheese, so I'm having a BLT!😀

These are so good!
My 191 calorie breakfast hash. 22 carbs, 6 fat, 12 protein, 2 fiber. baby white potatoes, bacon, yellow mini pepper, tomatoes, egg whites and carrots. Nest time I'll add more egg whites to get the protein up and reduce the potatoes to bring the carbs down.
I ate a whole package of cookies yesterday. oh well, my journey goes on. 

My NON guilty pleasure! These are called moon drop black grapes. Instead of grabbing some chocolate or a cookie when I go through the kitchen, I grab some of these. I'm not even missing the chocolate!
The rain has stopped, the sun is shining!

I have rain in the forecast for next 15 days. .... That's a whole lot of puddles for me to play in! .... and muddy paw prints on my floors. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I made another weird breakfast. 1/4 cup oats, one serving of egg whites, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 serving of cheese. I put the oats and milk in the microwave for 30 seconds, then added the egg whites and cheese. Then microwaved for a minute. Then for another minute at 15 second intervals. It's a solid, like a soft bread, but with a creamy texture. Taste like oatmeal with cheese. 300 calories, 33 carbs, 10 fat, 18 protein, 4 fiber.

This morning's breakfast, banana buckwheat pancakes. 7 pancakes, 526 calories, 49 carbs, 11 fat, 20 protein, 10 fiber. add a smear of strawberry jam and you don't need syrup. I got the idea from sparks recipes and made my own. But I did make a recipe. I could only eat half of this.

My lunch. I won't lie, 424 calories, 47 carbs, 20 fat, 18 protein and 9 fiber. But I will be grazing on this for a bit and I still have 600 to a 1000 calories left for the day. So it's all good.

WOO HOO!!! I got both shoes on, walked 1.6 miles in 45 minutes and my blisters didn't hurt!! .... or get bigger!

This is a little on the weird but good side. It's muesli, an apple, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, honey, cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and egg whites baked together. and surprisingly filling.

A decent supper to a high calorie day.
I know this isn't really diet or health related, but I just felt like I needed to post this for anybody that is going through the same struggles as me.
Bandaids on both blistered little toes. The struggle is real.
Was starving, didn't want to fix amything, but knew I didn't need to just grab something. A fourth cup of pre cooked brown rice, 2 ounces of canned chicken, half a serving of frozen peas and miropoix, some chicken stock, and a splash of soy sauce. Popped it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I have a good for me 205 calorie lunch.
This is so good! Left over ground beef with spaghetti sauce, carrots, corn, red onions, tomatoes, frozen roasted potatoes and a little garlic salt. And only 400 calories!
My 543 calorie breakfast! It's one egg, 56 grams of egg white, chick fila fruit cup, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, serving of muesli and granola with a home made iced coffee with milk. I've been munching on this for an hour and a half! I wont be needing snack before lunch. 
I'm sorry, I had to share. .. but it is true. 
My 30 ounce doubled walled stainless steel travel mug I got at Target for 10 bucks. I can fill it twice in a day and almost hit my water goal.
Honey garlic pork, roasted red potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers and onion and only 342 calories! And its yummy!!

While the rest of the world is rushing to buy clearance Christmas stuff, I'm rushing to buy clearance turkeys. I got this 20 pound baby for 10 bucks! Now to de-bone it and freeze for some yummy poultry dishes.
