I'm thinking I need less calories to jump start losing again...I'm not vacation...Guests of family friends...No control over food preparation...But trying to cut corners.A FEAST...low in fat and calories!!!Always searching for protein boosters...any specific product suggestions welcome.I have found a great protein bar ...Simply pureed melon and peach...cool snack.Doing my best while on Greek islands...!Octopus. Of chicken tenderloin and mushrooms. Small sweet potato with some Walden Farms pancake syrup (no calories) and peas...scraped bottom of pan and added a splash of water for sauce...low fat, low cal and low carb. Delicious.Scallops scampi over spaghetti squash...butternut and zucchini. Delish.My first try...Halo Top... Chip Mint...not creamy but tasty.HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!!!!While trying to keep my protein up I'm finding that I'm not eating enough calories by eliminating so many carbs and fats. Any advise? Thanks.On the menu....entire meal 625 calories...42.8 grams protein...nice supper...baked breaded 4 oz. chicken breast, homemade 🍅 sauce, 1 tbl. Parmesan...with spaghetti squash...yummy.Hearty Sunday breakfast...380 calories...
Small bran muffin, 2 scrambled eggs and precooked bacon. WOW...it's Sunday!Lunch...I brown bag it 99% of the time...but this was a rare treat...3 oz of rotisserie chicken, 1 cup of bulgar with three dried apricots chopped into it and roasted brussel sprouts. Yum yum!!25 pounds and counting...it's a slow process when u r my age (68 yrs.) But that's ok...All salads are not alike...don't assume LIGHT/LOW CALORIES etc...Cava Grille is delicious but found out hard way...very caloric...over 2000 grams sodium too! Plus, they are delicious and moderate calories! I really enjoy.Didn't do very well today, nothing outrageous, but family ordered Chinese takeout by the time I got home. Friendship. Fit & Go Cottage cheese with Dole pineapple tidbits and small bran muffin for lunch. Four ounces of grilled salmon with Lean Cuisine Mushroom Mezzaluna ravioli. Now does that seem like I'm DIETING?? EGGO Nutrigrain low fat frozen waffle, 1/2 cup Halo Top Birthday Cake ice cream, Walden Farms zero calories chocolate sauce, 2 tablespoons Redi Whip and a maraschino cherry!Waffle breakfast with 2 EGGO Nutrigrain low fat waffles, 2 strips Oscar Meyer precooked bacon, Cary's sugar free syrup and Swiss Miss light hot chocolate...no complaints here on a snowy morning!❄️ cal./ 44 carbs./ 6 fat/ 10 protein.You can have a good size breakfast with carbs, just lower them rest of day.
