I had a great birthday! It was the prefect balance of things I love to do...except for the early morning blood test, which got done only because it had to get done and I was going into town anyway. After that I went to the gym, got a cup of tea and then took myself out to lunch then onto some much needed shopping. I picked up a couple of great buys - towels and a new bedspread with matching shams. I was going to buy fabric and make something but it was cheaper to buy already made VS fabric on sale!! I fell in love with the hippy quilt I bought. ;-)
After shopping (which also included a loaf pan and an extra set of measuring spoons because I can never find my measuring spoons) I met up with JF for kebabs, then I had practise with Chris. He gave me a cutting board that he made. He's a carpenter.
I can hardly wait for Sunday's spa visit!!

You're right. I haven't been around. I lost my second Spark Tracker thingie, went abroad for 3 months, and basically maintained for a while without watching what I ate, but still walking 5 miles every day. This caught up with me eventually, so now I'm back to the routine that I know works for me.

    "Chef" is a great movie!

You will do great with the Vivo. I don't swim so not needed. The Flex is as cheap as it gets when you go to a used!

Big issues w DD again. Unhappy Christmas looming. Again.

Get out that Charlie Brown tree for me... again.

Just a sausage note for you, you saucy thing. Don't even bother buying a meat grinder, unless it is an antique. The ones made nowadays are not strong enough to do anything but make quiche, lol. Yeah, a Cuisinart is the thing. Mine is the real deal and I have never used any other brand. It takes about 8 square inches on my counter and the bowl & stuff fit in a cupboard underneath. I have no knowledge of the new ones they make. When I worked for them I knew what was strong enough and got it while I could. My kids loved the bread and fancy food. Me, I love the quiche, lol. And any pulverized food item.
