My Goals:
My goal right now is to get under 200 lbs. That's still a high weight, but it's a long way to go and I need to take it slow and steady. When I get there, I'll reassess...
My Program:
I've given up on "Organized Diets", mostly because i'm sick of feeling deprived, all those wonderful foods you can no longer have... and have just become irresistible even though you never cared much about them before! I will bite the bullet and track my calories, dang it! But I will allow myself a bit of everything.
To start after a long period of inactivity, gym three times a week, minimum, cardio/WT combination, maybe a few classes here and there... and walking outside with the babe!
Loving myself unconditionally.
Personal Information:
I'm originally from Spain, but i've lived in the States for half of my life, and sometimes i forget i have an accent. I'm teaching myself to cook, especially healthy fare, and dishes from my country that i grew up eating, there's nothing more comforting... as long as i keep them light.
Other Information:
Likes:
Reading anything and everything
Meditating
Going on "photographic" walks around my neighborhood
Nutella - spreadable nectar of gods! (put on hold for the time being, of course)
Tivo - the perfect boyfriend
Traveling
Salsa dancing!
Dislikes:
Arrogance and prejudice, makes people look so ugly...
Loud cell phone conversations in public places
Noreastern storms
Lack of funds for traveling...

My dd, Maggie went to SPAIN in JUNE and studied at the University of Salamanca. She had a great month and went to Lisbon, also.
