Hello Everyone! In the summer of 2007 I let my weight and fitness get out of control weighing in at 176 lbs.. the biggest I've ever been! I didn't even notice that I had put on so much extra baggage until I saw picutres of myself at my moms wedding. After that I was determined to get healthy and fit.

I began counting my calories and eating alot more fruits, veggies and whole wheats, no more fast food! I also got a membership at my local gym and slowly worked my way up to doing cardio 5 times a week. I lost 36 pounds in one year and I lost it the healthy way. No crazy dieting, no pills, just good old working out and eating sensibly.

Now that I've gotten closer to my goal weight of 127 I've had to work so much harder to see the weight come off. For me, it takes more motivation and determination now, than ever! This weight loss journey has been full of ups and downs and I'm sure there will be many more to come... and i'm ready for it!


As of 9/9/2010...

I just had a baby BOY! :) I haven't even logged into Spark since December 2010 so it's time to get back to the grind! I gained 33 pounds during my pregnancy and stayed healthy and active. However, I gained 10 pounds before my pregnancy.. ahhh! I have a lot of work to do to get back to where I was post pregnancy but I'm ready for it. :) Here goes!

My Goals:
I really want a six pack... I know, I know, it's a little corny and it's harder for women to get our body fat that low but hey, who says I can't try! :)

My Program:
I count my calories:
1200-1500 a day.
I do an hour of cardio 5 days a week and I strength train 3/4 days a week. I also always try to drink 8 classes of h20 a day and eat 5 servings of fruits/veggies.
