My name is Ashley. I'm 22 years old. Over the past 5 years I have somehow managed to put on a little over 85 pounds! I'm am honestly horrified by this number. UGH.
I can't believe I let stress and bad situations take control of my emotions. I've struggled with weight since I was about 8 years old and by time I was a sophmore in high school I had everything back in check. I was healthy and active (and even though I still thought I needed to lose 5 or 10 more pounds) I found myself beautiful for the first time. I finally felt like I belonged somewhere. Unfortunately college life turned that around. Between my changing lifestyle, a new job, a new boyfriend, friends leaving... I found myself in a state of depression. Thats when the weight started creeping in... 5 pounds here... 5 pounds there... before I knew it I was over 200 pounds. Ever since I've been on this roller coaster of down 10 pounds up 15... down 15 up 25...etc.

But it's time for a change. I'm ready to feel beautiful again. I want to live my life... not just sitting around feeling sorry for myself.

    Hi from Living Binge Free. WE concentrate on that first, not on no emotional eating or eating clean or staying within calorie ranges, though those things often come down the line.

    I'm betting you joined a lot of teams. It's a good strategy to check them out and see where you might be able to make some inroads. It works best where a team has at least one active thread where the group responds personally to each other. It can take some time to get used to getting and being known, but it's a great feeling. Don't get overwhelmed by thinking you have to learn about everybody and respond right away. Just get your toe in the door. emoticon
