In the picture shown to the left, I was a fit 107 pounds. I am today about 129 pounds. The pictures in my photo gallery are at my current weight. Notice how my arms have gotten big and flabby. I am under five feet tall, so the pounds are more obvious than they would be on a taller woman.

I struggle with depression and fatigue almost always, so my main objectives are to increase energy and my sense of wellbeing.

My main weaknesses are that I do not usually drink more than 6 oz of water a day and, although I have a fitness club membership, I have not used it in over 9 months.

I had gained over twenty pounds in about three years, and so I realize that becoming my fit self again will take time. But I struggle in trusting myself - that I will stick to my fitness goals.

I really need support to get started and to keep going...

My Goals:
My main goals are to maintain a daily record of what I eat as well as activities/exercise.

My Program:
Currently, the only change I have made is to start eating salads for lunch and walk to/from work (15 min walk).

I have started reading Sparkpeople articles on motivation and am seeking support from other Sparkpeople members.

I need to buy a scale!

I would like to book a comprehensive fitness assessment at my local university so that I have a benchmark against which to compare my progress.

Personal Information:
I am a 37 year old married mother of a 16 year old.

I enjoy biking, but need to get my bike fixed.

I want to explore belly dancing!

Other Information:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

thanks for commenting on my page! I think you asked about my height, I am 5'3. Someone posted on my page to take it one day at a time, and I'm going to say the same here! Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great.
