September 2, 2019: The past year has been trying with minor health issues, home construction which lead to constantly being in chaos. Construction is not complete, but getting close. I can see the end in site. I want to play again. I am writing this to myself to get back on track. I need to lose weight for health reasons. I need to be active.I have gained weight this past year. This weekend I cleaned my closet and discovered the clothes I want to wear again.

December 13, 2018. It has been 5 years since I updated my page, so it is way past time. I have lost 60 pounds with the amazing help of Spark, but I still have a long way to go. My goal is to enter onederland (under 200 pounds) by Chicago Blues Fest in June of 2019. That is just under 30 pounds to lose. As I get older, it takes more effort to lose, but I can do it with everyone's help. I changed my picture today!!! My plan it to update it every 5 pounds until I meet my next goal. Merry Christmas to all.

It's been quite awhile since I updated my page. On November 27th, 2013 by life changed suddenly and drastically. My wonderful husband died with no warning. It has been a tough time since then, and I gained 20 pounds since January 2014. But I am ready to get back on track again. Miss you every day, Babe.

I am a landscape architect and want to look as creative as I feel. So far I kept off 30 pounds, 20 since I started with SparkPeople. I look forward to reaching my goals. My next goal is to lose 30 pounds.

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy, which includes stronger and slimmer than I am today. I want to be able to play with my children and my grandchildren. I love to sail and want to continue sailing into my 80's.

My Program:
I plan to track everything that passes through my lips as well as all of my exercise. It is challenging. Right now my goal is 20 minutes of exercise 6-7 days a week, eating 1400-1600 calories a day.

Personal Information:
I was happily married with 2 dogs and between us, 5 children. November 27, 2013 my life changed drastically. My husband died unexpectedly. Now I am learning how to live all over again.

Other Information:
My favorite exercises are Water Aerobics, Elliptical, Weight Lifting and especially swimming. I would have loved to take long walks with my husband and dogs, but arthritis in both knees stopped me. Now I have replaced both knees and now have friends to walk with.
