I originally came on this site, looking to lose a lot of weight for the Barenaked Ladies Ships and Dip cruise. On the day I booked the cruise (as far as I recall, March 13, 2006), I realized that my favorite band members might very well see me in a bathing suit. At 238 lbs (I was 242 at my highest), that was totally unacceptable to me. I'd been an athlete in high school. What had happened?

Luckily, I had about ten months to do something about it, and I did. I worked very hard, and had lost around 70 lbs by the time the first cruise rolled around. And then a second was announced, and I kept at it until I was happy with my weight (my "Where I want to be!" picture on the right was that point). I never ever thought I'd fit in a size 10. Sounds big to some people, but at 147 and 5'9"ish, it's the smallest I had EVER been. Even when I was in high school.

Four cruises have come and gone now, and I have no cruise on the horizon. I reached my goal in 2007 and now in 2016, I'm back to where I started, after starting a new career and getting out of my good habits. I feel like crap all the time now and am not strong like I was then, and I'm sick of it. I need to get back in shape. Lots of work to do. I've done it before. I need to do it again.

Fitness Minutes: 42,882

My Goals:
To get and stay between 170-180.

To tone and be in shape and love my body.

My Program:
Eating 1400-1500 calories a day, as long as I work out. 1200-1300 if not.

Working out at least 15 minutes every day. 30 if I can.

Drinking at least 64 oz of water (this isn't usually a problem at all).

Eat more veggies!
