Working on restoring my health. I have several autoimmune diseases. I have eliminated most of my meds, I still have 3 more to go.


I have 2 cats, 6 yrs, a Siamese named Asia and a fluffy grey striped mix named Holly.. A Boston Terrier named Samson , 5 yrs old. A Dachshund mix named Brisket,almost 3..I will try to post new pics of them. I also have a parakeet, Bluey .

I am into alternative healing, stones and crystals, essential oils, herbs, etc..

I love reading, cooking, collecting recipes (and other stuff) I enjoy yoga, walking, swimming, and dancing,

And I love feeding the seagulls. You can look right into their eyes, when they are hovering above you.

And I really enjoy a nightly glass of wine...or two...:-)

My husband and I are trying to do this together, healthy and losing weight. Although he is a long distance truck driver, so it makes it difficult for us to actually work on this "together. And it's really hard for him to exercise and eat right on the road. So it is mostly up to me. My program? I started using shakeology and streaming the exercise videos from the beachbody site.

My sister and I also joined the Wellnes Center (it's a rejoin for me and first time for her) We are working our way up to all of the aerobic machines and weight machines. (We just started this). And no that is not her in the pic on here with me. That is her daughter (and granddaughter) in the pic with me. Granddaughter is hidden in her stomach..haha.

I walk alot and am trying to be consistent with starting up my yoga program in the mornings, when I get up.

Starting Jan 2, I am going to be taking the tai chi class again at the wellness center.

One of the hardest things that I struggle with is my food consumption. I eat healthy, but I need to work on portion control....And logging my food, I really struggle with the tediousness of that, but starting Jan 1, 2018, I am going to start working on changing that, and hope that I will keep it up.

My Goals:
To become healthier and lose weight. To learn to eat healthier, eat more whole foods, cut out processed foods, preservatives, hormones, antibiotices, pesticides (this is a work in progress) and exercise more and hopefully to encourage others..


My Program:
Yoga, Walking. Dancing, Water Zumba, Water Walking, Swimming, Beachbody exercise videos. Working out on all of the machines at the Wellness Center, too.
