I guess I'm probably like everyone else here...I'm working on getting healthier and wanted a program in which I could keep track of it. I am a doctoral student in music. I also do some writing in my limited free time. Feel free to add me if you want.

Fitness Minutes: 939

My Goals:
Go to the gym 5 days a week

Do yoga at least 3 days a week

Keep track of calories

Win a job in an orchestra or at a university

Finish editing and publish my current novel

My Program:
Tracking fitness and meals on this website

Detail orientated practice 5 hours per day

Set aside at least one hour per day to work on editing. Currently on 4th draft and working through time syncing with the plot

Personal Information:
I am currently living in Oklahoma and work as a GTA at a university here. I am in the last year of my coursework before the dissertation. For the past several years, I have been focusing primarily on school and my own personal health has been not a top priority. I am trying to become more balanced and hope that this site will help me to accomplish at least the healthy eating/living portion of this.

Other Information:
Books: I absolutely love reading! I bring my Kindle to the gym so that I can force myself to do the requisite amount of cardio on the elliptical. I will read almost anything, but my favorite genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Adventure/Thriller novels. I actually get a lot of enjoyment out of nonfiction books in my area (music - especially theory) as well as in most of the sciences.

Movies: Similar to books. Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy, as long as they are done well.

TV: My favorite current television show used to be Leverage until it was taken off the air a month or so ago. I also like the Big Bang Theory and most things on the Food Network. I watch Top Chef fairly regularly as well. My Sparkpage background probably makes the fact that I watch Dr. Who somewhat obvious. I enjoyed Alias though I guess that was probably a decade ago. I do watch some anime (DN, FMA, etc) because I find that it really makes you think a lot more than most American TV.
