Introduction Text I'm a 32 yr old nurse, who knows better and is trying to do better. After many years of weight issues due to Norplant, poor eating habits, lack of consistent exercise and hormonal imbalance, I'm willing to try a new approach at losing the weight. Sometimes it's mind over matter... or maybe will over science. I'm not sure what it's going to take to lose it, but I'm sick of being the fat girl "with such a pretty face". Life's too short, you know? I'm focused on losing the weight for health reasons... we all say that. Really though, I secretly want to wear slutty clothes and look smokin' hot. Ok, maybe not slutty... trampy? LOL

Short term goals: To eat healthy meals every day that stay at or under 1600 calories, drink 8 glasses of water & exercise 3-4 days a week for at least 30 minutes. Long term goals: To lose 100 lbs., pose for boudoir photos, enter the RN program in July 2012 fit & healthy and to someday have a baby

- Counting calories: no more than 1600/day - Working out 60 minutes at the gym doing 30 min. cardio & 30 min of weight training - Limited sweets - Complex carbs only - Lots of water - Encouragement from my friends, family & fabulous b/f

I'm currently living in Beaumont, Texas, but originally from San Francisco, Ca. I'm a LVN for a local hospice company & intend to enter the RN program July 2012.

Nothing will ever taste as good as thin is going to feel!!
