1996 - I was not even at my highest weight here.

12/31/08 - I have kept off over 50 lbs but need to lose those 30 that have crept back over the yrs.

This was my favorite weight in college...30 pounds ago.

I have been on spark of and on for 3+ years. I just reset all of my information and starting from scratch (as of 1.10.12) My goal for 2012 is to lose at least 40 pounds and get into the best shape of my life. I want to run more 5Ks and make healthy outtings a part of meeting up with friends, instead of hitting the local Mexican restaurant for chips and drinks.

I've been obese, skinny, healthy, unhealthy, a workout freak and sedentary. I've binged, purged, starved, eaten balanced meals and a vegetarian since 1996. Just trying to find a healthy balance while living my crazy life.

I am putting ME back on my daily calendar and trying to focus less on work and my DVR :) It's about changing the way you live, not dieting!

My Goals:
At the end of the day it is not about the scale, but how you feel. Being healthy is a way of life - not a diet.
That being said... everyone wants to be a skinny bitch :)

My Program:
Cardio 4x per week
Strength 3x per week
I train 1x a week with a personal trainer who creates my strength workouts for me. I know what to do, but need to push of a trainer for motivation.

Personal Information:
Vegetarian/pescatarian. I eat shellfish every once in a while.

    If you are new to running or have been running for years this is a a great distance to train for!

    I hope you'll drop by the forum and introduce yourself!

    I see you're part of the C25K team as well! That's where I started out, using that program and learned to run!

    Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you.
