Introduction Text Welcome to my Spark Page! I joined SparkPeople on 11/15/06 and it has been a real help to me on my weight loss journey. This has been a Spiritual journey also for me. The Lord has shown me how I had given into the Flesh and used food as my comfort, joy, and pleasure when I should look to Him for these things! I am feeling so much better physically and emotionally since learning to be more disciplined in this matter of FOOD!

Met my goal weight of 150 on 3/28/07 now wanting to maintain or maybe lose another 5lbs. 1/4/07 lost 13 lbs. 2/12/07 lost 23 lbs. B.D. goal weight of 157 met 2/12/07 Also to lower my blood pressure and cholesterol

To journal. Walk at least 1 mile or more 3 days a week. Ride our stationary bike. Try to drink 8 glasses of water daily. Cut down on my portions at meals. Watch my snacking.

My husband and I live in a rural area by Ft. Gibson Lake out of Wagoner, Ok. We have been married 40 years. We have a grown son who lives in Tulsa. Also we have a dog named Lucy that we both are crazy about.

I have been a Christian since I was 23 years. I love the Word of God. Jesus Christ has been my victory throughout the difficulties of life.
