Focusing on the Changes to get the Results
I had lost over 100 pounds from my highest non-pregnant weight. I was thrilled with my progress and planned to get to a healthy weight according to chart and graphs.
Then, I got comfortable and became looser with eating, tracking, and exercising. A couple of skeletal issues made my usual exercise off-limits and I sat more. I regained a little over half of that 100.
I am now determined to get there again, and to learn to stay there.

I have been overweight practically my whole life. I've tried over and over to break out of my emotional eating. I've gotten frustrated in the past when it didn't happen quickly enough. This time, I'm in it for good! I will get to and maintain a healthy weight! I will be a postive, powerful role model for my daughter!

My Goals:
I want to be a healthy, active role model for my daughter. I want her to see that anyone can do anything they truly decide to do IF they want it badly enough. The only way to teach my daughter that is through example. I'm the mama....she'll do what I show her...NOT what I tell her!
My Program:
I am back to following the Nutrisystem program. I have achieved great success with this program in the past and know I will again, IF I follow the program. Eventually, I will work towards finding a balance without relying on prepackaged meals or making foods off limits. I want balance!
Personal Information:
I'm 52 years old, married with a 13 year old daughter. I'm a 2nd grade teacher, and live in a suburb of Houston, Texas.
Other Information:
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.
Seriously!
Quotes I like:
"The problem with change is that one change is never enough... In order to have the life you want you have to be willing to give up the life you have."
