    Try to complete a slow jog the day after your legs workout. It will help them recover faster. These "active recovery" runs are difficult and painful but push through them and your legs will feel better the following days. I am finally getting better at intermingling my lifting and running but it has taken months.

    About soreness. I do this active recovery run the day after an intense run or workout. It is my slowest run but hard to do as I'm sore. But it helps me recover and I do much better the next day after a recovery run. They are some of my hardest runs, I think due to the lactic acid build up of the prior day. Just thought I would share this thought since your pushing yourself on the running. I ran a four day schedule when I started and occasionally worked in a fifth day but not very often.

    Saw your comment on my superset post. I like compound exercises as most work a combination of muscles including core. Core has been my focus throughout this journey. I've just started some plyo work as my superset combos to start developing my fast twitch muscles. My goal enhanced muscle tone. We'll see how this works.
