Hey everyone! I'm 23 and have done nothing but gain weight since I got to college when I was 18. I'd like to get back to a healthier BMI and a healthier weight for my height. Like most of us, I've been struggling with weight loss for a while, but feel I'm truly ready to be successful this time!

Fitness Minutes: 14,914

My Goals:
Lose the 20-25 pounds that I've gained since high school, or at least get somewhere near that. Build lean muscle mass and improve overall nutrition and fitness.

Short term: Due to an article I read today, I've decided to set a short-term goal of losing 10% of my body weight, which is currently 15 lbs. I've updated my ticker to reflect this new goal!

My Program:
As far as exercise is concerned, I do a program called Warrior X Fit (www.warriorxfit.com) through my Taekwondo school. I'm trying to do it 6 days a week. 5 of those days is 45 minute high intensity interval training, and the other day it is only a 20 minute workout from the website.

Nutrition-wise, right now I'm calorie-counting like crazy, but also preparing for a huge lifestyle change in the way I eat. I have grown up eating nothing but fatty foods and am now learning how to eat fruits, vegetables, and even fish (which I used to hate)!

Personal Information:
Born and raised in Indiana, I just graduated from Indiana University in May 2009. I just moved to Oklahoma City at the end of July and will be starting law school at the beginning of August!

Other Information:
I love reading, writing and lots of other things. I'm just making my way through life like everyone else, trying to find my place in the world and be happy!
