Introduction Text I am a 37 year old mom to an 8 year old boy and stepmom to three boys between 16 and 22 years. I just finished a year of returning to school to complete my LPN to RN degree and just have to sit for boards now. With all this new time on my hands I am determined to get back in shape and to be a good role model for my kids.

Okay, first goal- making working out a habit. Second goal- get down to 158 pounds Third goal- get down to around 140 pounds/feel comfortable in a swimsuit this year. Fourth goal- Ride the local bike trail the whole length (45 miles)

Basically, I am just tracking what I eat and trying to get back into an exercise mode again. I got a gym membership at a small local gym and try to work out daily (or, rather, nightly since I like to go after putting my kid in bed).

From Minnesota by way of West Virginia. Not a fan of the 5 below zero crap but LOVE spring through fall up here.
