Welcome to my spark page. I first got interested in this when my soon to be sister in law joined weight watchers. After hanging around the site and joining a few spark groups I decided exactly what I want to do. I am doing the C25k program and am on week 2 starting tomorrow. I'm so excited about the program and my energy level just hoping I can keep this up. I am running a virtual 5K in April and am hoping to run an actual one also in April. My Goals:
Want to be able to run a 5k in April. I also want to lose 100+ pounds

My Program:
I'm currently doing weight watchers and am tracking everything I eat. I am struggling right now though because I've been stuck at 110 pounds and haven't lost anything in 2 weeks

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Elk Grove and got married last year. My anniversary is coming up so I'm working towards losing weight for that. I now live in Itasca, a little town about half an hour from Chicago. If you live in the area hit me up and maybe we can train together. I found this neat website called runkeeper and am using it to track my miles. I use to work two full time jobs but recently went down to 1 full time job and 1 part time job. Other Information:
I love romantic comedy's though my husband hates them. I'll read anything (ask my husband he always jokes that if it's written somewhere I have to read it.) When I get an idea to do something I go at it with everything I do. It's one of my strongest qualities but also one of my weaknesses. I sometimes go to hard at something and get burned out.

    Hello and welcome to SP!!! Thanks for adding me as a friend!

    I had to giggle a little when I read your status. I hurt whenever I run, especially when its been a while and I remember always being somewhat sore when I did C25K! People don't realize it but running takes every part of your body. I get shoulder cramps from it sometimes! Ha! Anyway, good luck with the training. Just stick with it and you will be running that 5K in April no problem!
