i have been very heavy for the last few years and i got to the point that i was having problems walking...i am heavy all around but most of my weight is on my hips and butt...my knees are giving up on me...in January i went to the doctor and finally i found out i was 351 lbs...i knew anymore and i would be in a wheel chair...so i began to change the way i eat...it has been a learning experience for the last 7 or 8 weeks...but here i am and ready to lose more weight..this is it....i hate being fat!!!

Fitness Minutes: 505

My Goals:
my goals are many...i want to wear high heels...be a size 10...dance the night away....run around with my granddaughter....this is just to name a few.


My Program:
i am eating 1500 calories or less per day and 50% of those are protein.. when i cant do something...i do it a bit at a time till i get it...when i began i could hardly walk...and i began by walking 2 or 3 minutes during tv commercials and now i am up to 3 plus miles per day.



Personal Information:
i am a 51 year old widow who is ready to take her life back...i HATE being fat...i hate to look in the mirror because i just do not like what i see...so because of that i have to change the way i eat.


Other Information:
i am a pretty determined person...and to do what i said i would do is number 1 now.

    thanks for the comment on my blog - that's true, if you weigh everyday you can catch it early if you start putting weight on - i didn't think of it like that. i just do it cos i'm impatient! sounds like you're doing amazingly well, looks like you're nearly halfway to your goal! excellent work! keep it up! emoticon

    Yes, I've been here all along!! I love reading the articles. When I started I had a goal of reading 1-2 or even 3 articles a day if I had the time. Then I applied what I learned to my weight loss...
    It is just so big though so I never liked reading the blogs, blogging, message boards ect. on here unless I had a specific question
