My name is Kris and I am a mom to 8-year old boy/girl twins and a 1 year old girl - My biggest inspiration for losing the weight. I've been on SP since early 2008 with many ups and downs. As of 1/5/2016, I have been going STRONG and am DETERMINED to battle this morbid obesity once and for all. It's going to be a wild ride, but I am up for the challenge. My Goals:
My overall goal is to get down to 125 lbs.

Short term goals:

May 18th 2013 - 200 lbs.

September 3rd 2013(Labor Day/End of Summer) - 170 lbs.

New Years 2014 - 160 lbs

My Program:
I am following a typical lower-calorie, lower-fat diet to achieve my goals. I am not only looking for weight loss, but also an overall improvement in health. I have several health concerns that can be addressed through weight loss, proper diet, and a good fitness program. This has worked for me in the past. My diet is focused on eating PLENTY of fruits and vegetables (I strive for 8+ servings/day), lean meats, a lot of whole grains, and some low-fat dairy. The occasional treat slips through as well...I am only human, after all! :)

I also exercise 5 days per week. 80% is cardio and 20% is strength training at the moment. I go to the gym for the most part, but do occasionally walk outdoors as well as use hand weights at home.
