In 2011, on January 7:26am I said GOODBYE to 28 years of my pack & a half daily smoking habit.

This was the beginning of my search for that healthier, stronger me. In terms of my weight..I spent most of my life trying to GAIN weight. I graduated high school weighing ONLY 84 lbs.

Well my 40s hit and I ignored the changes in my metabolism and just kept eating what I wanted and however MUCH I wanted. Late 40s...add hot flashes & the weight gain that is associated with that age zone and you could stick a folk in me!

Well in May 2014, at 4,11 my highest weight was 154.50 and GROWING. Finally...enough was ENOUGH!


I don't expect it to be easy...I mean, I've had...years of practice in disrespecting my body via smoking and gaining weight by eating junk food and NOT GIVING my body the exercise it needed. Well, now, I'm portioning my food and I exercise daily for 30-45+ minutes.

Currently I follow LESLIE SANSONE'S "Walk Away The Pounds" series and I do 4 miles daily. I've also started to explore more challenging cardio videos like Violet Zaki. A lot of sweat & tears are going into my healthy lifestyle plan...and I don't regret a moment of it.

*** UPDATE ***

I now workout with ZAKI three times a week (Pure Sculpt & Interval Calorie Burn) and I also do three times a week with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. I now only do 1 day a week with Leslie.

9-6-2014: Began Day 1 of the Free 7 Day Pass From the YMCA-Hollywood. On Saturday, Sept 13th, I will begin my regular membership.

I know that it will take time but my inner determination soars HIGH and I'm not stopping until I find "That Girl" again.

My Goals:
Go from 154.50 lbs to 129.00 lbs by Sept 19, 2014.

Go from 129 lbs to 120 lbs by November 2014

Exercise daily.

Consistently eat healthier.

Get out more (I work from home) and enjoy life!

Do something that I've never done before at least twice a month.

My Program:
Limit my daily calories to: 1,100 - 1,250.

Buy a Bike.

Join a gym in 2014. My gym Exercise Plan is:

Aqua Aerobics
Gravity Strength Exercise
Free Weights
