To be fit and happy.
My Program:
Currently I'm being a total lazy jerk and I need to get my butt of the couch and stop my stuff before I weight 275 lbs again!
06/30/2008 @ 235 lbs I jogged my first mile (in about 14 minutes)
09/13/2011 @ 200 lbs - Jogged 10 miles in 2 hrs 13 min. Phew!
05/26/2012 @ 189 lbs - First official 10K in 1h:11m:35s
10/27/2012 @ 188 lbs - 2nd 10k 1h:09m:41s (as Hurricane Sandy was blowing in!)
09/01/2013 @ 190 lbs - half marathon 3h:6m
Personal Information:
I've almost always been overweight. When I was 16 (at 5'8") and weighed 150lbs. Looked pretty good then, but the adult life got the best of me and I started packing on pounds, one at a time. I wish I could say it sneaked up on me, but can you really say 118 lbs just sneaked up??
