Hey, I'm Charlene.

I go to school part time, going for my bachelor in Business Administration at UF online. I work full time at a great company, if it wasn't for the people. :o)

If you ever need anything please let me know. I'm here for you. I really couldn't have lost over half my weight I needed to lose so far if it wasn't for my wonderful family on SP. :o)

(2009) I have started to run the beginning of April. At first it was so tough! I couldn't even run for 30 seconds let alone 1/10 of a mile. I was struggling. But I didn't give up. Now, I can run a 5k without walking! I would have never imagined myself doing that in 1,000 years! I am so proud of myself! I have my first 5k race in a little over a week, then I have my second the week after that! I crave to run sometimes and that's the feeling I've always dreamt of having. Enjoying to run.

I know I couldn't have lost the weight that I had so far without this site. SparkPeople has the motivation you need, the support you need, and most importantly the TOOLS you need to be successful.

So, Keep up the good work! You can do anything you set you mind to!!

My Program:
Eating Healthy. Many Small meals a day. I'm getting in the required fruits/veggies/dairy/grains.

Also- trying to get back up to drinking half my body weight in ounces a day! Slowly but surely I'm making my way back up there!



Personal Information:
I'm from central Florida, where I live with my fiance. I'm attending UF online to obtain a Bachelor degree in Business Management. Started in January of 2010, currently I'm a newbie.

I got married 12/15/11 JOP style but 11/5/11 will be the ceremony for family... and me :o)

    The weather was TERRIBLE for the last couple hours but we are on the tail end of it now. The good news is I haven't heard of any actually tornado's I know we were all under the warning but I haven't heard of any forming tonight so far. I fear them too and always plan in my mind what I'll do with my kids during bad storms. Thanks for the add..

    Hi and welcome to SparkPeople and the SP Class of January 6-12, 2008!
    Start recording everything you eat in the Nutrition Tracker, don‘t worry too much this first week about ‘dieting‘. You'll probably notice that you're getting WAY too much sodium and not enough protein and fiber. If you're an 'emotional eater' record in the Nutrition Tracker notes what 'set you off' to a binge etc.
    Also if you aren't already, start incorporating at LEAST 8-8 ounce glasses of water every day. Your body requires that as a minimum just to sit in front of the TV all day. For every hour that you sweat you loose a quart of water ... that's FOUR CUPS. So, it's important to hydrate and REhydrate your body throughout the day.
    Come on by the team and introduce yourself! It’s been BUSY over there. Participation is a great motivator.
