Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. ~Robert Collier

It's the small efforts we make that get us through the day and onto the next. Walking around the block today will lead to walking around 2 blocks tomorrow. Taking 30 minutes to exercise will lead to an hour of exercise... it's inevitable... tomorrow will be a better, brighter day!

I constantly have to remind myself - "Don't give up"... "Keep going!" I make small efforts every day to keep myself motivated, to keep up the "good fight"... to WIN my war! And I KNOW through my hard work and determination... I WILL reach my goals!

Hi - we are pretty lucky in Canada, most places have water stations, if you bring your own water bottle. However public events still seem to have the worst possible food. I try to bring our own with us. Have a great day - Heather!

You are RIGHT about the small steps. After knee injury, i gained 25 lbs! I was so discouraged and after surgery, doc says no more running! what to do? i've started just doing a 20 minute SP low impact workout a few times a week and walking the dog. Hey, if that's all you can do to start, it's all you can do. As you progress, you'll WANT to do more...AND YOU WILL! emoticon

emoticon for your comment on my blog: emoticon -Is Anyone Out There emoticon I appreciate your thoughts and input on this sometimes "sore" subject!
As for the confounded TV, my husband gets uneasy when it is not on, so we will be watching something like Bluebloods (and it is loud) so instead of pausing or hitting the mute, he tries to talk over the top of it! …. emoticon And then when I tell him to repeat please, he says, "I think something is wrong with your hearing!" … emoticon Seriously!!
