(I've struggled with my weight for years. I hope that this is the answer I've been looking for. ) -2007

So that statement was written about 3 years ago when I first joined. And guess what....I'm still struggling. I have not been on here for about 2 years now and have not taken full advantage of what spark has to offer. So if I'm still having a hard time taking the pounds off and keeping them off, I only have myself to blame.

I am ready for change and it begins now :)

-Less than a week after I wrote that I have found out that i'm expecting!!!!! So I guess the weight loss is on hold for now :) I'm just hoping not to gain to much weight. Recommended by my doctor 15-20 pounds.
However I am already off work for 2 weeks due to pelvic pain and must limit my activity. So i have to make sure my food is in check!

Current weight: 166 April 18/10

Now I'm up to 200 lbs.....yikes!!!! Too bad Everleigh was only 9 lbs. So here I am...back on the wagon !

cut down on sugar
drink lots of water
stretch everyday
be more active
no snacks at work... there is always people bringing in cakes and pizza..ALWAYS!!


My Program:
tracking my food intake to really understand what I'm putting into my body.
doing at least 10 min of yoga everyday.

I have started running as of Oct/2012 and I am hoping to run my first 5K in May!

A short 5'2, so those extra pounds really make a difference!

I hope that the weight loss is coming along for you and that you aren't too overwhelmed with everything that you are doing right now! I just got back from the family reunion, I gained 1 lbs. But I count that as a success and a testament to my ability to make more good decisions than bad :). Don't forget to keep in touch, we are in this together no matter how busy we get!! emoticon
