Dec 2013: Still struggling to find my way, but I'm back on spark so maybe that is a good sign....**********************************

I recommitted to losing this weight and not giving up at the beginning of 2009. I have been on many different diets over the years, some more successful than others. This time I am trying to take a step back from the diet mentality and focus on creating a lifestyle that will uncover the fit, healthy me that is disguised under about 40 lbs. To that end, my goals are to eat clean and exercise, give my body a break when everything is sore...and be patient! That last one is tough for me, but I am working on it! I know that I will get there, I am not turning back this time!

My Goals:
Goal 1:
One-derland by my 38th birthday (April 7, 2013)
*DONE 4/18/2013*

Goal 2:
180 lb by my oldest son's birthday (July 17)

Goal 3:
165 lb by my middle so's birthday (Oct 8)

Goal 4:
150 lb by Jan 2014

Goal 5:
135 lb by my 39th birthday (April 7, 2014)

Goal 6:
Maintain 135-140 lb through 2014 and turn 40 looking and feeling fabulous in 2015!





My Program:
I'm following the Biggest Loser 4-3-2-1 pyramid: 4 servings fruits (2)/veggies (2+), 3 servings protein, 2 servings whole grains, 1 serving fats or treats (up to 200 cal). Starting off I will exercise 3x/week, 1 hour each session (30 min cardio, 30 min weight training.)



Personal Information:
I live in PA, about 1.5 hours north of Philadelphia. I am 38 years old and have been married for 11 years. I have three children - two boys, ages 10 and 8, and my daughter is 5.
