Here we are 2013, I've been with Sparkpeople for almost 7 years. In 7 years I have made some amazing friends who are so supportive and loving. I have learned about nutrition and fitness. I challenged myself to accomplish several 5K & 10K races and also fund-raised for the Arthritis Society and completed the Toronto Waterfront 1/2 Marathon in 2009. After completing the 1/2 in 2009, I took a little break from running and when I attempted to train again, I was pushed to far to fast and end up injured. It took a long time to get my shins back to normal. As a result - I got lazy.
In the last few years I have focused more on my career than my health. Thankfully, this has been successful and my career is going where I planned.
So here I am ready to make changes. Not because it is New Years Day but because it's the right time.

Welcome to the 17DD plan and team. I am currently in my first go around (Cycle 2 Day 6) Things went quite well during Cycle 1, lost about 9 lbs and that was after having cut back on the "unhealthy foods" about 5 weeks earlier and already drinking the 8 glasses of water daily. So my "water weight" loss was probably minimal when I started this plan. There is plenty of team support! Best of luck emoticon

You can write to me any time and I will answer all of your questions. It's just time to move on with my life. Stay with the 17 Day Diet and you will do fine. Stay as true to the book as you can but remember that you can eat as many veggies as you want when you are hungry.

    Much love, Cindy

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my page.
Yes I am proud of myself. I am prouder that when I start to see myself back slide, I go ahead and try to pull my boot straps up again. It is harder, but it is worth it.
Back to C1 with me this week.
