Have discovered that my best calorie level is between 1000 and 1200. With that range, I lose weight slowly but steadily. I know that sounds low, but with my age (over 70) I think it is right for me. After almost 4 months of trying, in the past 3 weeks I have started to lose more consistently than in the previous 2-3 months. I have also upped my walking distance.

Specifically what I have to do is:

1. Walk 5 days out of 7 for 3-3.5 km
2. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day (Have to work on this!)
3. Eat at least 5 fruits/veggies every day, and stay within my calorie range.
4. Log in to SP and record all that I eat
5. Do strength training 2 times a week. This is the hard one!
6. Keep a sleep diary and aim for 7-8 hours of sleep at least 5 nights a week.

JUNE 15 update. 10 lbs off since early Dec.....won't win any speed records, but feeling good. Lots of walking. Now to focus on more water and veggies!
