After graduating from university I've realised what sort of life I want. I don't want to be stuck inside all day doing a job I don't care about - it's just not natural! I want to have an outdoors life with a job in the area I'm passionate about. But to do this I need to prepare my body by getting fitter and healthier, and once I'm physically and mentally strong I can start living my life the way I want to. I can make a difference in the world by throwing my body and mind into it whole-heartedly!

* Run 30 minutes
* Run 5 km non-stop

* Run 5 km in under 30 minutes

Other goals:
* Have thighs that don't touch at the top!
* Measure 18" thigh
* Measure 36" hips
* Cycle to the top of my hill without stopping
* Do an unassisted pull-up

    Thank you for the comment on my blog. I'm really trying to have a positive attitude about it, and I am pretty determined to do it this time. Like I said in my blog, I'm starting at the bottom and will work my way up. Math is the only thing really holding me back so I feel like I need to conquer it. No liking Algebra doesn't make you weird, just makes you lucky you liked it and were able to get it done. I know there are tutoring services at the school I am going to, I will need to check that out, I'm sure I will need help at some point.

    The funny thing is neither my husband or I are very good at math but my son doesn't have any trouble with it. But I doubt he would want to help me with my homework!

    It seems that everytime I get some momentum going, something happens. Last week it was a big blister on my heal, didn't slow me down for long, but just about the time I got over that, a cold comes along! Oh, well...this too shall pass.

    I'm going to major in history. It's what I enjoy and I can do it at our local college. I will still be working full time so I will only take a couple of classes a semester, I don't want to be overly ambitious, it's been a long time since I was in school.

    I will be doing lots of exercise this summer so I think I will do okay. I defenately want to keep eating my same breakfast, it really keeps me from getting hungry before lunch. At least I will have more time to actually think about and plan some meals and actually cook for a change. So that will be a positive for the summer.

    I have something new to worry about - summer. I work at school so when school is out my routine will be shot! I do the best when I am at school and I just eat what I bring with me. I will have more time to exercise and I will be doing yard work too which burns lots of calories, but still, I'm not sure how hard it's going to be to stick to the plan when I will essentially have no routine.

    I am also planning on going back to school myself in the fall which will be a big change for me. I will still be working full time so it will be a challenge. It's always hard when your life is changing. Sooooo, I am going to work very hard this summer to get as close to my goal weight as possible and always keep lots of fresh fruit and other healthy choices around for when I get busy.

    PS, I actually gave away some of my fat clothes this weekend!!!
